I am not getting an iPhone, changed my mind, I am getting the SideKick Slide (online, I am already on T-Mobile), I don't want the SK2008 or the LX09

Even after the OTA im not sure how I feel. Danger is acting like they are doing us a favor by restoring service, service they went into contract with us. Now they aren't sorry. They are treating us like we're lucky to have what we have. Instead of doing everything they can about getting ALL our services back. T-mo did more to keep us than danger did. So how can we feel about a device with backing like that. I loved my phone before all this. But now to be treated like we're nothing is disheartening at best.

How exactly are they treating you like they are doing you a favor?

How do you know they arent doing everything possible to safely restore all user data?

T-Mobile has been taking care of the situation because you are their direct customer, not Danger.

I guess because even if this network were 550,000 strong (im sure its less) it wouldn't take this long to put the ENTIRE system back up. A simular thing happened to another (bigger) celluar company and they had the whole thing running at 100% within DAYS. Second they are treating us like they are doing us a favor instead of doing what they promised by being so late on getting it all up and running. If they were worried about us as customers, they would be working faster. Because the other cell company busted a move on their system with the quickness to keep its complete customer base. Danger being so slow is telling me that what ever customers they lose, they won't care. And to them, if it takes 2 days or 2 months they'll get to it when ever they feel like it....and not a moment sooner. How much longer are we going to have our phones like this? Will it ever be fully operational like it used to be....as it is among other things I've posted about, the games I have and the apps that used to be in the "community" folder are all in the application folder. Now that's bad. That's a system not fully up to snuff. This is not an anti-danger post....this is calling a duck, a duck! All of these things are wrong. And to "give danger more time" means giving them sympathy for something where we are the only ones losing out on, for something we didn't cause.

While what you say is true, I believe that we should give T-Mobile and danger a break, I mean, yes they did make quite a mistake and almost ruin everyone's data, but most of it's back now, so can we go back to loving the SideKick?

yess even thoough i hate all this b.s thats been goin on i cnt leave my sk the 09 and the 08 are my babies they are my "partners in crime" haha

i switched to the blackberry 8520, but i still carry my THawk around in my bad.. Idk why but I miss it so much :[
